Texas State Aquarium and SeaLab

 

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade GT students visited the Aquarium and SeaLab to explore this local ecosystem.  At the SeaLab students learned how pollution in our watershed affects the bay.  They also tested water salinty and tubidity of samples taken from the Rincon Canal.  Students ended the day with taking a look at microscopic organisms that live in the ocean.
