Donorschoose.org is a non-profit organization that allows teachers to post programs and projects that they would like funded.  Donors are able to browse and donate to projects that they want to help make possible. Our GT class created an account and asked for the supplies to create a salt water aquarium.  This would allow students to observe and learn about a world that is almost literally in their backyard. Several days later we were notified that our project was completely funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and Perfect Pattern Parcel!  Since then we have received the materials and have established our aquarium habitat. What an amazing experience!
