Destination Imagination Regional Competition

 

Our 4th/5th grade D.I. team the "Diving Donuts" competed at the South Texas Regional competition held at King High School.  They placed 3rd in the Elementary Level Technical Creature Feature challenge!  In one part of the competition the team had to create a real or imaginary creature that completed 3 tasks using technical methods. The creature had to be be featured in a story set in a real or imaginary world that showcased 2 technical features as well. The second phase of the competition, called Instant Challenge, tested the teams ability to work together and think on their feet! These students worked hard over the past several months and did an amazing job! Congratulations!
