Padre Island National Seashore

 

Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade GT students visited the Padre Island National Seashore, the worlds largest undeveloped barrier island!  Students learned about native animal adaptations, conservation and even butterflies!  We then took our knowledge to the beach and looked for habitats, pollution, and found evidence of life everywhere.
